Yesterday the main news that dominated the headlines of nearly all the news channels in India was that Jarnail Singh a journalist of Dainik Jagran group hurled shoe at our union home minister Mr P Chidambram.
Personally I felt that the way in which Jarnail Singh expressed his anger and dissappointment was wrong he could have expressed himself through media,but i also feel that its high time now and we need to come forward and vote corrupted politicians out of the system be it Jagdish Tytler ,Pappu Yadav or anyone. As the day passed and media started showing various peoples nd political parties reaction.I expected that most of the parties would condemn this act,but I was shocked when I saw BJP'S media person backing Jarnail Singh!! I think this issue is above politics..The person on whom the shoe was thrown is the Home minister of India and the whole thing is connected with our Country's pride.

However this act has made an impact and congress is reconsidering its decision of allowing Titler to contest elections.
With every passing year elections in India are becoming more dramatic and controversial. Political Parties seems to be more intrested in attracting votes by creating contoversies .Its sad that most of them are forgetting the main issues that need to be looked at .Just go to any small town and evrywhere you will find issues relating roads,water supply,health facilities,education.Our MP'S and MLA's get enough funds to develop their constituencies but in maximum case these netas after winning the seat forget all promises they made to public.Even if they spend some funds a big share goes in their own pockets the whole system has become corrupt.
And to a great extent we are only resposible for this condition of ours.Time has come now when we vote netas on their performance nd nt on their caste,gender or region.
